Eric Stewart opened the Eric Stewart Insurance Agency in Franklin’s Westhaven community in November 2013. Eric, a registered principle agent, primarily offers Erie Insurance, which is rated #1 by J.D. Power and Associates in small business commercial insurance and in the top 10 in several other categories. Eric provides Erie Insurance for small businesses, as well as home owners, life insurance, annuities, umbrella policies and more for individuals. Eric’s agency also offers products from other insurance companies to ensure that his customers can obtain any insurance they need.

When Eric and his family decided to relocate to Franklin in the summer of 2013, after Eric had nearly three years of success in the insurance industry and a stellar 14-year track record in medical sales, Eric quickly received three job offers in the area. Eric choose to predominantly represent Erie because he had a hard time competing against it, and because Erie provides more individualized care and a higher level of client service than he was able to offer at his previous company.

Laura Hale comes to the Stewart Insurance Group with experience in customer service through banking, mortgage, and public education.

 

Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. She and her husband, Hugh, raised their four children in Cleveland, Tennessee before moving to New York City for four years, and then back to Tennessee in 2016, settling in Franklin. After sampling much of the cuisine around NYC, Laura enjoys the up and coming restaurants of Nashville and Franklin.

 

As a CSR, Laura has a passion to exceed customer expectations and looks forward to serving the customers of Stewart Insurance Group.

Mady comes to Stewart Insurance Group with an appreciation for elite customer service, willing and ready to offer that to our SIG clients! 

She is a Franklin native and loves her family time. When she isn’t at the office, you will find her making memories with her two young daughters and playing with their furry companion, Arrow.

Mady graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in Social Work. She has had experience over the years working with different demographics of people in a variety of customer service roles and brings fresh excitement to our team. With family in the insurance world, she saw a great opportunity to learn and gain more experience joining the SIG team.

Insurance Advisor Position

Stewart & Associates is seeking an energetic and experienced licensed insurance agent for a full time position.

 

JOB SUMMARY: Provides service to clients' changing insurance needs by selling Homeowners, Auto, Commercial and other property and casualty insurance products.

 

CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Outside Sales Position to utilize local referral networks for lead generation.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and discuss existing coverage.
  • Analyze clients’ current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes.
  • Explain the features of various policies.
  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Participating in marketing campaigns and bringing new ideas to generate new business.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • License/Certificates: Property and Casualty License preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Typically one year work-related experience; prefer experience in the insurance industry.
  • Skills/Competencies: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate technical insurance and billing information to policyholders, agents, and third parties. Requires strong focusing ability, analytical, and computer navigational skills. Must perform well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Language: Bilingual a plus
